The Game

Excited and anxious I await my dream
To escape, applaud And embrace my team
Opening day I always can trust
It’s just for this high That I crazily lust
Return of our hero Does brighten the days
Just briefly, my troubles Get lost in the haze
The grace from the field Arouses the crowd
Reflects on the days When I was quite proud
I’m more entranced Than the average fan
I used to play, you see And I know I still can
That time I drove the ball With such loft
My exit atop shoulders As they carried me off
This pastime and I Just fade into one
Expanded upon From father and son
My boy is young And awkward for now
I just need the time And can show him how
I really am quite close Just a break away
From straightening things out And being okay
I can help my team To regain its glory
With just a little twist To the same old story
Players say now They play for themselves
This causes a burning Within me that dwells
The fan is the one Who pays for the game
Which bestows all the riches And welcomed fame
The players will listen But really don’t hear
All the while just hiding Behind an invisible tear
I grow tired now of all this greed
And chart a course to set things free
The Fan 1996
Last October 27 was the start date for the 64th chapter of NBA regular season 2009. And the All Star will be held on February 14, 2010. A shouldn’t miss game of all season. Apparently, I don’t have my own favorite team in this game since its pretty hard to sit back at mamak stall on Friday morning to watch the game live on ESPN because they would really change to other channel as this game wasn’t a major interest in my community. I just like to watch a former And1 player that managed to get to NBA 9 years ago and now he is playing for New Jersey Nets as a PG but alas, the team is currently losing all games in the Eastern Conference. Well, lets just wait which teams gets to the final. I put my $10 on Phoenix Suns this season.

Two days ago I was being kidnapped by aliens. After taking two fat and healthy cows next to my house, the turn to me whom spotted their evil operations to have free cows for next raya Qurban. This is the footage:

I should run miles away the moment I saw them. These aliens have a very ugly faces. I wish I can snatch a few pictures but they took my newly GPS operated N73 and deleted their pictures and just left me a few pictures of their interior design of  the space ship. I guess they are smart too, they just pin-point my cellphone and *pooof* the image is gone.

Cool isn’t it? Nice..

I haven’t write for almost a week now. Yeah, this week seems too much things need to be done in such short notice. I am unemployed but then I am busy, you ain’t see that coming didn’t u? A week ago, I went to this company for an interview, well the HR department don’t even bother to call me for at least once. She just email me the invitation. In fact, her name is pretty weird that I thought it wasn’t a person’s name. I thought it was some kind of company’s name. Dumb. This company is making sphere balls and sells them all around the globe. I am not very sure that what is the purpose of this sphere balls but the company rapidly growing throughout the continents.

See, I told you. They made this sphere balls and proudly put on of the sphere design with a stripe on their logo, next to the company name. Well, everything went well here. But I had a few humps on answering their non-technical questions. More to personality traits questions like how do you fell about…, what would you do if… and etc. Well, I am still waiting for the results to come out. Never put a high hope tho. I want to sell this sphere balls to all of my friends. BTW, do u know what the AT&T means? Am I getting dumber? This is a serious but I hope it’s not permanent brain damage to me, a result after almost half a year being unemployed. But guys, relax. It is not contagious okay.

A singles from Relapse, Em latest album. Some says this Relapse album will be his last album but you’ll never know right. This song is about pain that he faces and would like to have anyone who would fell how and what he’s been through. There’s a line where he said

come to the grip with the fact I’m done with rap

Well, this surely inflicted that this may be his last album. He is already 37 by now, being rapper would make him immature for some reason. Most of his songs would be based on his life, the ups and downs and the hardship; not just like other regular rapper who would just rap about girls and drugs. This made him in a class of his own.

We don’t like it,we fear it.

But we can’t stop it from coming.

We either adapt to change.

Or we get left behind.

It hurts to grow.

Anybody who tells you it doesn’t is lying.

But here’s the truth.

Sometimes the more things change, the more they stay the same.

And sometimes–

oh,sometimes change is good.

Sometimes change is.

Two roads diverged in a yellow wood,
And sorry I could not travel both
And be one traveler, long I stood
And looked down one as far as I could
To where it bent in the undergrowth;

Then took the other, as just as fair
And having perhaps the better claim,
Because it was grassy and wanted wear;
Though as for that, the passing there
Had worn them really about the same,

And both that morning equally lay
In leaves no step had trodden black.
Oh, I kept the first for another day!
Yet knowing how way leads on to way,
I doubted if I should ever come back.

I shall be telling this with a sigh
Somewhere ages and ages hence:
two roads diverged in a wood, and I —
I took the one less traveled by,
And that has made all the difference.

The Road Not taken by Robert Frost, 1915

A significant poem in the nick of time. And yes it has made all the difference, I couldn’t look back the same way that I used to. But hence, life does goes on.

High School

The environment and nature is different. It was back to my high school during my junior year. And there she was, in a class that I used to be. I was in the other class in a same block of four classes. Just before a class begins, I was there looking at her from the glass windows. As the class started, I can’t wait to end the class and meet her. Eventually the lessons finish and I tried to catch her but she wasn’t at her desk, leaving a bag and books. She wrote a name on her bag and the name is not mine.
